Australia You’ve Been Splattered
Stay Groovy
The bloodiest musical of all time
From the producers of The Play That Goes Wrong, Evil Dead The Musical is a hilariously gory, blood-soaked rock musical based on the iconic 80s Evil Dead cult film franchise.
When five college students venture to an abandoned cabin in the woods, they accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. It’s up to Ash, a housewares clerk turned chainsaw-wielding hero, to save the day. With blood flying, limbs dismembered, demons cracking bad jokes, and killer musical numbers, this show is a laugh-out-loud romp from start to finish.
Following splatter-filled seasons at Sydney’s Seymour Centre and Melbourne’s Chapel Off Chapel, audiences have been thrown smack-bang into the middle of the chaos where ramshackle cabins, possessed mayhem, and outrageous comedy collide. And for those brave enough to enter the infamous Splatter Zone… yes, you really do get drenched in fake blood.
Whether you’re a die-hard horror fan, a musical theatre lover, or just someone who enjoys a good laugh, Evil Dead The Musical is a wild ride like nothing you’ve ever seen – part comedy, part carnage, and all parts GROOVY.
This production may be resting… for now. But you never know when the Necronomicon might be opened again.
Stay tuned for resurrection announcements.
