Leading the charge as Ash is Harley Dasey, a Bachelor of Music Theatre graduate from the Elder Conservatorium of Music (ECMT). His recent work includes Orlando in As You Like It for Melbourne Shakespeare Company, Princeton in Avenue Q (AG Theatre), and the role of Elliot in the new musical The Killdeer (dir. Tay Broadly) at Perth Fringe.
Stepping into the dual roles of Annie and Shelley is Grace Alston, fresh from performing internationally in Prague with the Australian Shakespeare Company. A WAAPA alum, her previous roles include Bombalurina in Cats (WAAPA), Ethel in Footloose (WAAPA), Gertrude in Hamlet (WAAPA), and Sara Jane Moore in Assassins (WAAPA).
Emma Wilby joins them in the role of Cheryl, bringing with her a string of impressive credits including the Australian premiere of Tarzan the Musical (James Terry), Dusty (Prospero Arts), Jersey Boys (Prospero Arts), and leading roles in Heathers (Queensland Con) and Cry-Baby (Queensland Con). Emma is a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium.
As Scott, meet Jake Ameduri. Jake trained at ECMT and WAAPA, and has appeared professionally in the Australian tour of Sister Act (Crossroads Live), as Timothy Price in American Psycho (See You Sunday Inc), and in the development of the new Australian musical When Henry (Be New).
Playing Linda (Ash’s loyal girlfriend) is Elaina Bianchi, a graduate of the Patrick School of the Arts. Elaina has appeared in American Psycho: The Musical (See You Sunday Inc) and performed with Opera Australia in La Bohème, Cavalleria Rusticana, I Pagliacci, and Tosca.
In the role of Ed, Oliver Clisdell brings experience across new Australian works, festive favourites, and musical theatre classics. A graduate of QAEMT, Oliver recently appeared in the Australian premiere of Santa Claus: The Musical (Teatro and On Your Feet Productions), performed in Bearded: The Musical (Theatreworks), toured Queensland in A Very Naughty Christmas (Woodward Productions), and featured in Cry-Baby, 42nd Street, and Heathers (all Queensland Conservatorium).
Joining the cast as Jake is Harrison Riley, whose previous roles include Dog Man (CDP Theatre Producers), The Gruffalo’s Child (CDP Theatre Producers), Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Michael Cassel Group), and Mike Teavee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Gordon Frost Organisation).
Completing the company are swings Paloma Renouf and Matt Hourigan. Paloma, a NIDA graduate, recently toured internationally with Miss Saigon (GWB Entertainment), appeared in The Producers (JRP), and performed as Lila Dixon in Holiday Inn (Well Done Creative). Matt, a WAAPA graduate, has appeared in The Lord of the Rings: A Musical Tale (GWB Entertainment), Groundhog Day (GWB Entertainment), Holiday Inn (Well Done Creative), Into the Woods (West Australian Opera), The Boys in the Band (James Terry Collective), and more, bringing exceptional versatility and depth to the production.

Harley Dasey
Ash
Harley hails from Gidgegannup, Western Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Music Theatre from the Elder Conservatorium of Music and a Diploma of Musical Theatre from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
Harley spent 2023 as a vocalist at Universal Studios Japan. Now based in Naarm/Melbourne, he has since frolicked in the St Kilda Botanical Gardens as Orlando in As You Like It (Melbourne Shakespeare Company) and whipped out some puppetry when he played Princeton in Avenue Q (AG Theatre). Other previous credits include the a capella rock show Retro FM (Festival Statesmen Chorus) at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and playing the role of Elliot in a new musical, The Killdeer (dir. Tay Broadley), at Perth Fringe.
He also has a deep love for music, having played guitar, saxophone, and percussion throughout his life.
Grace Alston
Annie / Shelly
Grace (she/her) is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (BA Music Theatre, 2023) and Brent Street (Diploma of Musical Theatre, 2020). She most recently returned from Prague, performing internationally with the Australian Shakespeare Company as part of their 2025 Graduate Players. In 2024, Grace was a resident artist with Broadway Unplugged through the BeYou Group, performing at shows throughout the year. Her earlier international experience includes the 2019 MTI Music Theatre Allstars program.
At WAAPA, Grace’s credits include Bombalurina in Cats, Ethel McCormack in Footloose, Queen Gertrude in Hamlet, Sara Jane Moore in Assassins, and Margaret Darcy in The Good Fight, along with ensemble roles in Sweeney Todd and Mack and Mabel. While training at Brent Street, she played Charity Hope Valentine in Sweet Charity and Margaret White in Carrie.

Emma Wilby
Cheryl
Since graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium in 2023 with a Bachelor of Music Theatre (Distinction) Emma has pursued opportunities which reflect her gift for storytelling. Most recently Emma appeared in the Australian premiere of Tarzan the Musical. Other career highlights include Dusty the Musical, her professional debut as Francine Valli in Jersey Boys, the roles of Veronica Sawyer in Heathers, Pepper Walker/Dance Captain in Cry Baby and Tiger in Queensland Theatre’s workshop of Round the Twist directed by Simon Phillips. Emma also has appeared as Sasha in QPAC’s Development Workshop of Once in a Lifetime, as Mae in The Pajama Game, and in roles in 10-Act Cabaret, 42nd Street and Grease. Emma is absolutely thrilled to be joining the cast of Evil Dead the Musical and can’t wait to bring Cheryl to life (and death). She extends her heartfelt thanks to her parents, family and agents at BGM for standing by her every step of the way.
Jake Ameduri
Scott
Jake Ameduri (he/him) is an exciting artist on the rise. Originally from Perth, he studied at both WAAPA and the Elder Conservatorium. A rounded triple threat, Jake has a strong stage presence and unique performance style. His professional credits include Onstage Swing in SISTER ACT (Crossroads Live), Timothy Price and Others in AMERICAN PYSCHO THE MUSICAL THRILLER (SeeYou Sunday Inc), and he developed a role in the new work WHEN HENRY (Be You Group). While at the Elder Conservatorium, his credits included Grantaire/Understudy Marius in LES MISÉRABLES, Carlos/Understudy Kyle in LEGALLY BLONDE, and Old Man Strong/Swing in URINETOWN. He also featured in Song Cycles like IN PIECES: A NEW MUSICAL and SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD.
Jake is excited to perform the role of Scott and bring EVIL DEAD to audiences in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Elaina Bianchi
Linda
Elaina Bianchi is a Melbourne-based performer and graduate of the Patrick School of the Arts, where she completed her Diploma of Musical Theatre (2022–2024). Elaina’s recent credits include American Psycho: The Musical (Vanden, and others) and performances with Opera Australia in La Bohème, Cavalleria Rusticana, I Pagliacci, and Tosca. Elaina has also appeared in high-profile commercial and corporate events, including the AFL Grand Final Pre-Show (Katy Perry), Amway Gala, Australian Dancesport Championships, and the Olympians’ Welcome at Rod Laver Arena. No stranger to blood, after American Psycho, Elaina is ready to get her hands dirty with the Evil Dead!
Oliver Clisdell
Ed
Oliver is a Music Theatre graduate from the Queensland Academy of Excellence in Musical Theatre, previously Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. Oliver most recently appeared in the Australian Premiere of Santa Claus: The Musical (Teatro and On Your Feet Productions), playing the role of Henchy at Sydney’s newest theatre, Teatro at the Italian Forum. Prior to this, he was part of the Ensemble and covered the role of Axel in Theatreworks’ production of the brand-new Aussie musical, Bearded: The Musical.
Other credits include Elf in the 2023 QLD tour of A Very Naughty Christmas (Woodward Productions), Baldwin Blandish/Dance Captain in Cry-Baby the Musical, Ensemble/Bert Barry Cover in 42nd Street, Dance Captain/Swing in Working: Localised, Swing in Heathers: The Musical (QAEMT), Host in Bluey Live! (HVK Productions), Charlie and Others in Maybe a Miracle (Echelon Productions).
In addition to his studies at QAEMT, Oliver is also a 2020 Graduate of the Diploma of Musical Theatre from NIDA, where he worked with the likes of Philip Quast, Anne-Maree McDonald and Simon Burke AO.

Harrison Riley
Jake
Harrison, as a long-time fan of horror, is thrilled to be playing Jake in Evil Dead! His previous credits include Dog Man in ‘Dog Man’, The Gruffalo/ Predators in ‘The Gruffalo’s Child’, Ensemble/ Swing in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Mike Teavee in the Australian tour of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Paloma Renouf
Female Swing
Paloma holds a Diploma of Musical Theatre from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), graduating in 2023. At NIDA she appeared in Sweeney Todd as Dance Captain and ensemble member.
Shortly after graduating, Paloma made her professional debut in 2024 with GWB Entertainment’s international tour of Miss Saigon, performing in the ensemble and covering the role of Gigi.
In 2025, she joined JRP Australia’s production of The Producers, appearing in the ensemble and understudying Ulla for seasons at both the Hayes Theatre and Riverside Theatres.
Most recently, Paloma appeared as Lila Dixon in Well Done Creative’s production of Irving Berlin’s Holiday Inn at Riverside Theatres.

Matt Hourigan
Male Swing
Matt is a graduate from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre). Prior to Evil Dead, they’ve also performed in the Ensemble in The Lord of the Rings: A Musical Tale (GWB Entertainment), Swing in The Boys in the Band (James Terry Collective/Chapel Off Chapel), Dance Captain in Holiday Inn (Hayes Theatre Co/Well Done Creative), Swing in Groundhog Day (GWB Entertainment), ongs for a New World (Soundworks Productions), and Jack in Into the Woods (West Australian Opera) where he was privileged to receive a Performing Arts Western Australia Award nomination. Matt’s graduating credits include Daryl Ames in Bright Star, Dance Captain in The Pajama Game, and Ensemble in Mack and Mabel and Crazy for You.
